John Reese and his plans with "income.com"

Here is an email from John Reese: he talks about...

read yourself...

WARNING: You will probably just skim
this email and not read the entire thing.
But I promise if you read the entire message
you will discover a big SHOCKER at the
end. This email itself doesn't make me
one penny so this isn't a maketing tactic.
So please read the entire email so you
get the full effect of the surprise ending.
I promise, it will be worth it. :-)

----------------------------------------

Traffic. Traffic. Traffic.

Every marketer online wants more of that precious
resource... TRAFFIC!

As we all know, there are many different ways to
generate traffic online...

Google AdWords...

Yahoo (Overture)...

Affiliate Programs...

Articles...

Viral Reports...

Joint Ventures...

SEO...

Etc. Etc. Etc.

And most marketers, the ones that any
experience online, think they "know it all"
when it comes to traffic generation because
so many strategies are often repeated and
regurgitated over and over online.

But in this email and another soon to follow
I want to 'expose' you to some additional
traffic generation methods that you probably
don't even know exist... (at least not on
this 'level'...)

*** BIG MEDIA BUYS ***

I'll never forget something that 'happened'

I was strolling around a little sit-down
lobby area during a break at a marketing
seminar. There were tons of couches
and comfy chairs setup and lots of people
were on their laptops...

A young guy was sitting on a couch by
himself and as I walked by I couldn't help
but notice his huge laptop screen...

And what was on it really caught my eye.

He was looking at some kind of crazy data
report. It had graphs and charts and TONS
of numbers all over it.

Being a diehard tester I just *knew* that he
was looking at some sort of marketing data.
Some sort of results from traffic campaigns
or something.

So I just *had to* approach him and ask...

"Hey, sorry to be so nosey but are you
checking out your traffic stats?"

He seemed a bit shy and reserved but
looked up at me and replied, "Yeah...
I just started a new ad campaign today
and wanted to see how it was performing."

After seeing how much crazy data he
had on his screen I knew he was dealing
with quite a bit of traffic... this wasn't
just a 100 clicks a day AdWords campaign.

So I asked, "You buying a bunch of clicks
or ad impressions?"

"This campaign is with ad impressions
that are delivered across several big
web sites... about 4,000,000 impressions."

My immediate response was...

"Wow! 4,000,000 ad impressions
for a single monthly campaign, impressive!"

He looked up and let out a little laugh...

"No... 4,000,000 FOR TODAY."

His name was Carlos Garcia.

Carlos is the epitomy of "under the radar"
online marketer. You won't find him at seminars.
Or in marketing forums. You haven't seen
people promoting his products in JVs.
And the odds are good you've never even
seen a photo of him -- I don't think there's
a single one online. (I could be wrong.)

He hasn't been selling "make money"
products to Internet marketers or speaking
at Internet seminars...

Yet he makes the majority of self-proclaimed
Internet "gurus" look like first-graders when
it comes to online success...

5.3 BILLION AD IMPRESSIONS
30 MILLION + "CLICKS"
AS MUCH AS $5,000,000 SALES A MONTH

And that traffic was from just *one* of his
projects. ONE.

What Carlos, and his wife, Lupe, learned
to master is the online game of doing
large media buys. Like banners or other
ads of all shapes and sizes that are
served everyday across the Internet
by the BILLIONS.

I'm talking about online ads that are being
served in numbers everyday that DWARF
the number of PPC search engine ads.

So many marketers overlook these ads
as possible traffic generators.

But that's okay. That's exactly how
Carlos and a few other marketers like it.

They LOVE the fact the most people
only buy traffic from AdWords.

It keeps their prices down.

Ever heard of DoubleClick? You know
the advertising agency that Google just
bought for $3 BILLION DOLLARS?

Well, that is just ONE of the companies
online that brokers those billions of
graphical ad impressions.

And there are MANY others. Like
aQuantive. A name you've probably
never heard of.

Microsoft just bought them...

FOR $6 BILLION DOLLARS.

There is HUGE money and HUGE
traffic in this ad serving business.

Carlos & Lupe learned to play this
game of buying TONS of traffic and
leveraging it into big profits.

As much as $5,000,000 a month.

Not bad for a couple of deadbroke high school
drop-outs that decided to attend an Internet
seminar when they were 20 years old.

They took that info and everything they
could learn to generate huge success
in a short period of time.

They are a true "rags to riches" story.

And all of their traffic is from this "big media"
traffic. NONE from SEO or Adwords
PPC stuff.

Carlos & Lupe spoke for the first time about
what they have been doing at Yanik Silver's
recent "Underground" seminar...

The crowd was BLOWN-AWAY by
the monsterous numbers they are
dealing with.

They don't sell stuff to Internet
marketers but as the word "quietly"
spread around the marketing
community during the past few
years, Yanik finally convinced them
to give a presentation and at
least sell a high-dollar coaching
program to teach 'some' people
their methods.

They agreed, and it's no surprise that
they had people RUSH THEM at the
seminar to pay $25,000 to
be one of the few that got accepte
into their coaching program.

$25,000. How many 'gurus'
can get people to pay that?

Carlos called me this weekend...

He said him and his wife have really enjoyed
teaching their students -- and, heck,
enjoyed making some nice money
too! ($25K a pop!)

They are now preparing to accept
another round of people into their
coaching program and then I
think that's that. I don't think
they will do it again.

(BUT THIS ISN'T ABOUT THAT.)

You'll soon start seeing a lot of
the pre-launch marketing for
the reopening of the program...

But don't let the 'hype' turn you off.

We all get sick of being bombarded
with emails promoting the exact
same "can't miss" offer.

And I'm sure you'll see a lot of
emails about this program...

But I really think you need to
pay CLOSE ATTENTION to this stuff.

And I don't care if you join the
program or not. That's not the point.

(It's about a free video you should
watch just for the content... but one sec...)

If you do have any interest in a
coaching program like this...

Carlos wouldn't give me an exact price
for this new program but he did tell me
it will be a lot less than the $25K they initially
charged -- because a lot of what they
taught with the first group of students is
now recorded so they don't have
to repeat the same stuff. They will,
however, get into some additional methods
they didn't have a chance to teach the
first time around.

I imagine it will still be very expensive
but I don't blame them! They really have
some very valuable things to share.

Carlos and his wife just released some
great content online to start the
buzz for the reopening of their coaching program.

(You can go watch their seminar presentation.)

It's definitely worth checking out.
You'll see some CRAZY numbers
as well as learn some great stuff
about "big media buying."

But some 'good' news and 'bad' news...

(BUT A QUICK SIDEBAR FIRST)

I want to add that Carlos & Lupe
have promoted some stuff online
that I personally would not promote
and you may not either.

They heavily sold a "diet patch"
and some other stuff like that.

But I don't say this to 'judge'
Carlos & Lupe. I say this to
make an important point...

Even if you don't 'agree' with a
product that they sell, don't
overlook the BIG LESSON in
all of this...

It's not about examining what
they are selling it's about discovering
HOW they are selling it. I wanted
to make sure and emphasize
that.

(BACK TO THE GOOD/BAD NEWS)

I asked Carlos on the phone if he
would create a non opt-in entry
page for me to share with my
subscribers because I know how
much many of you hate them...

Unfortunately, he said he didn't want
to do that because he really doesn't
want the entire public to be able to
view their seminar presentation.

(It's available online right now.)

He told me, "I know that many
people won't be willing to give
me their info before seeing the
video... I even ask for a phone
number. I do this because I really
want to limit the number of people
that watch the video yet still have
a way to let the most serious
ones (and potential coaching
students) see it."

So you have to go through an
opt-in form to see the Web video.

You'll get instant access if you
fill-out the form. There's also
an informative 'camtasia'
presentation in front of the
form that you can watch before
submitting the form. But the good
stuff is 'behind' that form.

I think it's well worth opting in
to see it. Heck, just unsubscribe
right away if you don't want to
get any additional email from them.

Now here's some 'good' news...

I was able to get a back-door link
to the powerpoint slides of the
presentation. But you should
definitely watch the video as it
has a lot more content -- they
talked about things not on the slides.

SO HERE ARE YOUR OPTIONS...

(BUT DON'T GO YET.)

1. Main page with Camtasia and
opt-in form that leads to video
of their seminar presentation:

http://www.traffictactics.com

2. Back-door page where you
can download their Powerpoint slides:

* BUT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *

I know what you're thinking...

"Wow, John is getting 'tricky'..."

"He actually registered a unique domain
name to use for his affiliate link!"

BZZZZZZZZZZZ. Nope.

That's not an affiliate link. It goes
directly to their site and I don't make
a penny if you do end up taking
coaching from them.

Yes, that's right. I probably just
forfeited enough commissions to
buy a new car. And all I had to do
was use my affiliate link.

But I didn't...

I've been the #1 affiliate for the past
12 -14 promotions in a row that
I've really put an effort into. One of them
recently earned me over $1,000,000.

(Not bad for sending out a few emails!)

SO WHAT ON EARTH AM I DOING?

I have an affiliate link. Carlos gave it to me.

But I'm not using it. Why?

FOR *TWO* VERY IMPORTANT REASONS...

1. I truly think you can benefit from what
Carlos & Lupe are sharing -- even the free stuff.

2. I'm done.

"Huh?"

I've sincerely appreciated all of my links in the
past that you've clicked on and the purchases
that you've made through my affiliate links...

I've made millions of dollars from it.

And I truly thank you!

BUT...

I won't be sending you anymore affiliate offers...

...I'm done.

Let me explain...

I have started a new company... Income.com, Inc.
And I have BIG plans for it. I truly want to make
a tremendously *positive* impact on the world with
it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know that sounds hokey
but it's true...

I want to empower as many people as possible
around the world to succeed with their own Internet
business. And I believe in order to do this I need
to make some changes... at least to accomplish
the 'vision' I have for the company and how I believe
I need things to go...

One of these changes is to stop promoting
affiliate offers to you. Yes, I will be potentially
losing a small fortune. I realize that...

But I want to set a unique precedent for Income.com.

We will only recommend truly great products
and services to our customers and subscribers
and we will only do so WITHOUT COMPENSATION.

I know, I know. This is absolutely unheard of
for the Internet Marketing industry. Especially
for its #1 Affiliate.

But it's just something I feel Income.com needs
to do. Now don't get me wrong, I plan to make
Income.com an incredibly massive success as a
business, but I believe in that pursuit that we
should not recommend outside products and
services and get paid for it.

There may be the rare exception for some sort
of "joint partnership" but those will be rare and
if they do ever happen it will be fully disclosed.

So from now on any links you receive from me
you can just know are NOT affiliate links
whatsoever. If there ever is a reason for one
it will be fully disclosed and made blatantly
clear.

I also want to add that marketers using affiliate links
are NOT evil. ;-) My decision to do this is not
to judge or "put down" other companies that
generate revenue from affiliate promotions.

In fact, I highly recommend you *DO* regularly
incorporate affiliate marketing into your
efforts. It's a powerful way to generate
revenue without selling your own product!

I just feel this is a personal decision I need
to make for Income.com because I feel it's
going to be in a very unique position and
I want to do everything I can to retain its
INTEGRITY.

And, No, I'm not saying that if someone recommends
a product and gets paid a commission that they
have no integrity. ;-) I just think it's what
Income.com needs to do based on how I want
to position the company. I'll just leave it at that.

I've got another affiliate-link-free "Traffic Generation"
resource that I will send you soon. Keep an
eye on your inbox.
